Peter ’s personal values have been engraved by his personal experience in making it possible for families to have decent homes, despite the financial limitations:
• Close relationship: this has been evident with the family being together despite the
encountered challenges and disadvantages, with hope for a better tomorrow as Peter’s
parents invested in their children’s education. In return, Peter made it his personal
commitment to build his parents a decent home.
• Connection: Peter believes in the value add of connection with others, which served him
when he engaged with builders at the young age and managed to get the much needed
experience to build his family home, and ultimately build homes for more families.
The above personal values, informed the values for Harrys Civil and Construction (Pty) Ltd,
and it forms the business’s culture and strategic direction:
